By sponsoring one of the following students, you will give them the opportunity to get an education so they can escape the cycle of poverty. Your contribution pays for their transportation to school, uniforms, books, tuition, and other school-related expenses.

Once you’ve chosen the student you would like to sponsor, we will send you a more detailed student profile. At that point, we will start your student sponsorship based on a donation of

for Grades 7—12

$480/year

for College Students

You may either set up a recurring monthly donation, or you may make a one-time payment for an annual sponsorship. If you choose an annual sponsorship, we will send you a renewal request when it’s about to expire. Our hope is that, like almost all of our sponsors, you will opt to continue helping your student. Your commitment means the world to these children and, in turn, they will strive to honor your participation in their education.

Mary Norhaine

Mary is 9-years-old and a Grade 4 student. She is the eldest of three children.

At a very young age, Mary was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Despite her illness, she is always active in school and participates in all activities, and only misses classes when she needs to go to the hospital for her regular check-ups.

Mary’s father works as an on-call construction worker, earning $10 per day when he has work. Her mother is a housewife. The family lives with Mary’s maternal grandmother, who works as a frozen food vendor.

Mary’s favorite subject is Mathematics, and in her free time, she enjoys making do-it-yourself bracelets. She dreams of becoming a teacher or a doctor. Her general average for the 2024-2025 school year was 83% (Satisfactory).

Ray-mark Panid

Ray-mark is 18-years-old and a first-year college student studying for a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. He is the youngest of three children.

Ray-mark’s parents are separated and the family has not received any support from his father since he left three years ago. The main provider for his family is his older sister, who works as a cashier earning $10.90 per day. His mother manages the household and makes barbeque sticks when there is an order.

Ray-mark is determined to finish his studies and become a policeman. His favorite subject is Mathematics, and he loves to play basketball in his free time. His grade average for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year was 88% (Good).

Shaun Aaron

Shaun is 8-years-old and a Grade 3 student. He is the second of three children.

Shaun’s father works as a dishwasher at a restaurant, earning a daily minimum wage of $11.73. His mother is a fulltime housewife. The family lives in a small room within the house of his grandmother.

Shaun is a bright child with a strong passion for Mathematics. He enjoys singing and dancing during his free time, and his biggest dream is to become a Mechanical Engineer, as he is fascinated by machines and robotics. His general average during the 2024-2025 school year was 85% (Very Satisfactory).

Princess Jane Francisco

Princess Jane is 19-years-old and a second-year college student studying for a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She is the second of four children.

Princess Jane’s father works as a tricycle drive, earning about $9.00 per day. Her mother takes care of the household and manages a small retail store to help supplement the family’s income. Her parents’ earnings are not enough to cover the family’s expenses or to support the children’s education.

Princess Jane dreams of being a licensed social worker to help individuals and communities in need. Her favorite subject is Filipino, and she has a passion for art and calligraphy. Her general average for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year was 1.45 (Very Good).

Louise Andrei

Louise is 10-years-old and a Grade 5 student. He is the second of three children.

Louise’s father is a carpenter. His work is located far from home, so he only comes home once or twice a month to reduce transportation expenses. He earns $14 per day. His mother is a fulltime housewife. Louise and his family live in a small house owned by his grandparents.

Louise has a deep interest in Mathematics, English, and Science subjects, and in his free time, he enjoys playing badminton. He dreams of becoming a professional engineer one day, with the goal of building a house for his family. His general average for the 2024-2025 school year was 86% (Very Satisfactory).

John Mark

John Mark is 18-years-old and a first-year college student studying for a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. He is the eldest of two children.

John Mark’s father works as a cow caretaker, earning a fixed income of $90 per month. His mother works as a housewife and manages the family’s mini retail store, which earns about $5.45 per day, providing a small but helpful addition to their income.

John Mark works hard in school so he can find a stable career to help support his family. His favorite subject is Physical Education, and he enjoys physical activity and hands-on work. His grade average for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year was 84% (Satisfactory).

Angela Camposano

Angela is 9-years-old and a Grade 4 student. She is the eldest of three children.

Angela’s father is an on-call electrician, earning $200 to $300 per month. He supports his parents as well as his wife and children. Angela’s mother is a fulltime housewife. The family lives with Angela’s paternal grandparents in their simple concrete house.

Angela enjoys participating in extracurricular activities at school, and she consistently maintains good grades. Her favorite subjects are Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health, as well as Mathematics. In her free time, she loves reading both English and Filipino stories. Her general average for the 2024-2025 school year was 84% (Satisfactory).

Ryan Reyes

Ryan is 17-years-old and a first-year college student studying for a Bachelor in Elementary Education with a Major in Content Course. He is the fourth of five children.

Ryan’s father is a construction worker, earning between $10.90 to $12.72 per day. He supports his parents as well as his wife and children. Ryan’s mother is a fulltime housewife. The family lives in a small rental house that costs $36.36 per month.

Ryan is committed to becoming a teacher so he can help his family and make his parents proud. His favorite subject is Creative Writing, and when he has free time, he likes to sing and dance. His general average for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year was 88% (Good).
