Once you’ve chosen the student you would like to sponsor, we will send you a more detailed student profile. At that point, we will start your student sponsorship based on a donation of

You may either set up a recurring monthly donation, or you may make a one-time payment for an annual sponsorship. If you choose an annual sponsorship, we will send you a renewal request when it’s about to expire. Our hope is that, like almost all of our sponsors, you will opt to continue helping your student. Your commitment means the world to these children and, in turn, they will strive to honor your participation in their education.

Noah Buena

Noah Buena is 13-years-old and a Grade 6 student. He is the youngest child among 3 siblings.

Noah’s mother is a single parent. His father has a new family, and he has not sent any financial support to Noah since he and his mother separated 4 years ago. Noah’s family receives minimal support from their relatives, and at times, do not have money for their basic needs. They live in a house owned by Noah’s maternal grandmother.

Noah easily gets along with other students and always helps his mother with household chores. He wants to have a better life for his family, especially for his mother. He would like to become a policeman in the future. 82% (Satisfactory) was his general average for the 2022-2023 school year. Noah’s favorite subject is Mathematics. During his free time, he always wants to play volleyball with his friends.

Jowelyn Duma

Jowelyn Duma is 10-years-old and a Grade 2 student. She is the third child among 4 siblings.

Her mother is a full-time housewife. Her father is an on-call helper/construction worker, and he earns $10 per day when he has work. As of now, he is collecting recyclables to sell to the junk shop while waiting for construction work. The family lives in a small house made of light materials without water and electricity.

Jowelyn is already a responsible daughter, and she helps in household tasks and takes care of her younger sibling. She prefers staying at home. She wants to become a teacher to be able to help her family and to become an educator to the children in Payatas. 85% (Very Satisfactory) was her general average for the 2022-2023 school year. Her favorite subject is Mathematics and she likes to sing during her free time.

Ryle Silvestre

Ryle is 13-years-old and Grade 7 student. He is the second child among 3 siblings.

His mother is a stay-in housemaid earning $120 a month and his father is a security guard earning $200 a month. Ryle’s father brings the youngest child to his work. The family lives in a small rented house that costs $50 a month. Electricity and water are extra. The combined income of Ryle’s parents is not enough to support their children’s school needs.

Ryle is determined to obtain a college degree. He is kind and focused to his studies. He also wants to have a brighter future for his family. His dream is to become a policeman. 90.8% (Outstanding) is his academic average for the second quarter of this school year. His favorite subject is English, and when he has free time, he plays basketball with his friends.

Ferdinand Platon

Ferdinand is 14-years-old and an 8th grader. He is the fourth child among 5 siblings.

Ferdinand’s father is an on-call construction worker earning $50 per week when he has work. His mother works in a small store of frozen food/cold cuts, where she earns $4 per day, 6 days a week. The family lives in a small house made of scrap materials that needs to be repaired, and the combined salaries are not enough to sustain their daily needs.

Ferdinand likes playing volleyball with his friends. He also likes to draw during his free time. His favorite subject is Technology and Livelihood Education. He dreams of becoming a fashion designer in the future. His average for the second quarter of this school year is 83% (Satisfactory). Despite the hardships, Ferdinand dreams big for himself and for his family.

Ashley Noyra

Ashley is 13-years-old and a 7th grader. She is the third child among 4 siblings.

Ashley’s mother is a fulltime housewife. She must take medication for a heart illness. Her father is an on-call construction worker. His income of $180 per month is not enough to support the family’s daily needs and the school needs of the three students. The family lives in a small rented house that costs $40 a month.

Ashley loves to cook simple food for her family. She always makes sure that she does her best as a student. She wants to become a flight attendant or a chef in the future, and she dreams of having an own house. Her favorite subject is Mathematics. Her average for the second quarter of this school year is 88% (Very Satisfactory). Ashley is very determined to finish a college degree because for her, it is the only way to lift her family out of poverty.

Emelyn Jaldo

Emelyn is 20-years-old and a second-year college student studying Hospitality Management. She is the youngest child among six siblings.

Her father sells meals and earns $100 a month. Her mother is 50-years-old and a junkshop helper earning $64 a month. When Emelyn doesn’t have classes, she sorts recyclable paper items and earns $4 per day. The family’s combined income is not sufficient to cover her school fees.

Emelyn’s favorite subjects are Filipino and English. She loves to cook and dreams of being a chef. She has a hearing problem in one ear, but even so, she is able to succeed in her classes. Her average is 2.1 (Good) for the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

John Paul

John Paul is 8-years-old and a Grade 2 student. He is the oldest child among 2 children.

John Paul’s mother is a fulltime housewife. His father is an on-call construction worker earning $12 per day. They pay a house rental of $50 per month.

John Paul is a cheerful, kind, and sweet child. He is a responsible older brother and an obedient son. His ambition is to become a soldier. His general average last school year was 88% (Very Satisfactory). His favorite subject is Mathematics, and he likes to sing and draw during his free time.

Akira Sheen

Hannah May

Hannah May is 15-years-old and a Grade 10 student. She is the second of 3 children.
