By sponsoring one of the following students, you will give them the opportunity to get an education so they can escape the cycle of poverty. Your contribution pays for their transportation to school, uniforms, books, tuition, and other school-related expenses.

Once you’ve chosen the student you would like to sponsor, we will send you a more detailed student profile. At that point, we will start your student sponsorship based on a donation of

You may either set up a recurring monthly donation, or you may make a one-time payment for an annual sponsorship. If you choose an annual sponsorship, we will send you a renewal request when it’s about to expire. Our hope is that, like almost all of our sponsors, you will opt to continue helping your student. Your commitment means the world to these children and, in turn, they will strive to honor your participation in their education.

Ferdinand Platon

Ferdinand is 14-years-old and a 9th grader. He is the fourth child among 5 siblings.

Ferdinand’s father is an on-call construction worker earning $50 per week when he has work. His mother works in a small store of frozen food/cold cuts, where she earns $4 per day, 6 days a week. The family lives in a small house made of scrap materials that needs to be repaired, and the combined salaries are not enough to sustain their daily needs.

Ferdinand likes playing volleyball with his friends. He also likes to draw during his free time. His favorite subject is Technology and Livelihood Education. He dreams of becoming a fashion designer in the future. His average for the second quarter of this school year is 83% (Satisfactory). Despite the hardships, Ferdinand dreams big for himself and for his family.

Yael Marco

Yael Marco is 7-years-old and a Grade 2 student. He has one younger sister.

Yael Marco’s mother is a full-time housewife. His father worked as a mechanic, but due to the low salary, he is seeking new employment. He takes on jobs from neighbors whenever they need motorcycle repairs as he looks for another job. The family currently lives in Yael Marco’s grandparents’ house.

Yael Marco’s favorite subject is Mathematics, and he loves reading storybooks at home and playing with his sister. His ambition is to become a businessman or an architect. His average for the third quarter of the 2023-2024 school year was 85% (Very Satisfactory).

Nicole Biando

Nicole is 16-years-old and a Grade 11 student taking Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Home Economics Strand. She has one younger brother and another sibling is on the way.

Nicole’s father is a construction worker earning $12 per day. He relies on an installment motorcycle for $60 per month to get to his work. Her mother is a full-time housewife and is expecting another child.

Nicole’s favorite subject is Science, and she dreams of becoming a professional flight attendant in the future. She loves to sing and dance in her free time. Her average for the second quarter the 2023-2024 school year was 87.13% (Very Satisfactory).

Robina Delos Angeles

Robina is 16-years-old and is in Grade 8. She is the youngest of nine siblings.

Robina’s father is a senior citizen who is currently unemployed, and he does not receive a government pension. Her mother is a full-time housewife who takes care of Robina and her nieces and nephews at home. The family’s income comes from the combined wages of Robina’s older brothers, who live under the same roof.

Her favorite subject is Filipino, and she dreams of becoming a professional teacher. During her free time she helps her mother with the household chores. None of her older siblings have been able to obtain a college degree, and she is determined to finish her education. She received 87% general average (Very Satisfactory) during the 2023-2024 school year.

Jimarie Baylon

Jimarie is 10-years-old and a Grade 4 student. She has a twin sister and two younger siblings.

Jimarie’s parents separated 3 years ago, and their mother now lives far away and is unable to visit or provide support for Jimarie and her two siblings. Her father works as a construction worker earning $214 a month. They live in her grandfather’s house. He has a weak immune system and relies on Jimarie’s father for financial support.

Jimarie’s favorite subject is Arts, and she dreams of becoming a flight attendant in the future so she can visit different countries and help her family. When she has finished the household chores, she likes to draw. Her average for the third grading period of the 2023-2024 school year was 91% (Outstanding).

Sophia Nicole

Sophia is 14-years-old and a Grade 8 student. She is the second of 4 children.

Sophia’s parents were separated and her father started a new family. He provides financial support of $120 per month to Sophia and her siblings. Her mother is a laundrywoman earning $14 per week. The children and her mother live with Sophia’s paternal grandparents because they do not have enough money to rent a house.

Sophia’s ambition is to become a flight attendant someday. A dedicated student, her general average last school year was 89% (Very Satisfactory). Her favorite subjects are History and English, and she likes to sing and to dance.

Charles Athan

Charles Athan is 13-years-old and Grade 8 student. He is the eldest of 3 siblings.

Charles Athan’s father works as a rideshare motorcycle driver, and he earns between $10 and $12 per day. His motorcycle is paid in monthly installments of $60, so he must set aside money from his daily income to pay for it. His mother is a full-time housewife. His family lives in Charles Athan’s grandparents’ house, and must pay for water and electricity.

Charles Athan’s favorite subjects are Science and English, and his ambition is to become a professional computer engineer. He enjoys playing chess in his free time. He is polite and works very hard in school. His average for the second quarter of the 2023-2024 school year was 88% (Very Satisfactory).

Andrea Jhane

Andrea Jhane is 10-years-old and a Grade 5 student. She has one younger sister.

Andrea Jhane’s mother is a full-time housewife. Her father works as a fish vendor earning $180 per month. They live in a small space owned by her father’s employer.

Andrea Jhane’s favorite subject is English, and she wants to become a doctor, not just to help sick people, but also to be a blessing to others. When she has free time, she loves to draw or sketch. Her average for the second grading period of the 2023-2024 school year was 84% (Very Satisfactory).

Jelian Rosco

Jelian is 17-years-old and a Grade 11 student. She is the youngest of 6 siblings.

Jelian’s mother works as a stay-in housemaid earning $140 a month. Her biological father does not provide support to Jelian and her siblings. Her step-father is a security guard earning $240 a month. They live in a house made of some light and concrete materials near drainage.

Jelian is dedicated to her studies and always makes sure that she gives her best in school. She wants to become a nurse to be able to help others and to help raise her family from poverty. Her favorite subjects are Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH), and when she has free time, she likes to draw. She had an 88% average (Very Satisfactory) for the second grading period the 2023-2024 school year.
